INTRODUCTION                                                                                                                                           Faith in Christ Lutheran Church is an orthodox confessional church that teaches and preaches the Word of God in all truth and purity, and administers the Sacraments as taught in the Holy Bible.  Many people today don’t know the Ten Commandments and don’t realize that they were the moral backbone of the United states of America.  Consider what is happening in our America today: No prayer in schools; Evolution instead of Creationism being taught; Homosexuals want to destroy marriage; Abortion (murdering babies) is considered legal; Christianity is being attacked by Muslims, the ACLU, atheists, and even other liberal Americans; and the list goes on ...                                                                                                                Join a church that will teach and preach The true Triune God and His Truth!!!

Why attend an orthodox, confessional LUTHERAN church?

Here are a few abbreviated reasons (For a full explanation, contact the pastor):

Only Lutherans believe:

1. MONERGISM, not synergism.  All other Christian denominations believe that man must in some way help in his salvation, but Lutherans believe that God has done it all; all man  has to do is believe and trust in Him.

2. as the Bible teaches, in the “Real Presence” of Jesus Christ in the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper, that He is not just “spiritually” present, but also “bodily” present in a very special way.

 3. in “close” communion.  Those who receive Holy Communion PROPERLY receive very special blessings from God.  It is the church’s responsibility to monitor all who partake so no one takes it improperly.

4. the Christian Holy Bible ONLY is the sole source for all Christian doctrine and world morality.  The Reformed churches add reason and the Roman Catholic churches add tradition and reason.

Who will be in Heaven, and will you be there?

There is a place called Heaven where chosen people will live forever with God in perfect bliss and happiness.  There is also a place called Hell where many people will be thrown into the Lake of Fire where they will live forever in torment and pain never to be with God.  How can one be absolutely sure he will go to heaven?

In the Holy Bible, God’s own Word to all people, He very plainly tells all people how they can be sure they will be with Him in Heaven.                                                                                                                                                                                                                             John 3:16  "For God so loved the world that he gave his only-begotten Son,  that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”                                                                                                                                                                                                                 John 3:36  “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him."                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    God makes it very clear that those who believe, that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He is the second Person of the Holy Trinity, that He is God, that He lived the perfect and righteous life God demands of all people and imputes His righteousness as a free gift to all who trust in Him, that He died on the cross for the sins of the whole world, and that He rose from the dead three days later and earned eternal life which He gives as a free gift to all who believe and trust in Him, only those will inherit eternal life and live forever in heaven with God.

No one will get to heaven because of his good works, or by praying to Mary or saints,       or because he died as a martyr, or because of anything he has tried to do to make himself acceptable to God so he could work his way to heaven.

Jesus Christ, our LORD and Savior, says, “For my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day." John 6:40
