Summary of: Homosexuality in America A. What is the problem? Until a few decades ago, homosexuality was rightly considered a disgusting, unacceptable lifestyle and was not even mentioned among the general public. Those who practiced it were given slang names such as “queers” to denote that their lifestyle was not the norm but unnatural, and not to be displayed among descent people. But slowly and methodically homosexuals, both men and women, through demonstrations and other means have duped and convinced the public to tolerate and even accept their horrid lifestyle. Today in the 21st century, even the government and the courts are giving these people preferential treatment. The homosexuals are no longer satisfied with being “tolerated” and they now want their disgusting lifestyle to be designated an “alternate lifestyle”. Today prominent people, from politicians to actors to athletes and even to clergy, openly claim to be homosexuals and defend their preference publicly; and whether male or female, these so-called “gay” people are proud of their disgusting, ungodly sexual orientation. America is in a rapid moral decline; if we continue on this path, we will find ourselves facing the same judgment that Sodom and Gomorrah did thousands of years ago. Unfortunately the general public doesn’t realize the severity of the situation and does nothing about it. B. Why is homosexuality such an unacceptable and disgusting lifestyle? 1. God says, “Thou shall NOT …” There are some who try to tell the world that the Holy Bible does not address homosexuality; others say God even endorses this terrible lifestyle. But a careful study of the Bible will show that homosexuality is totally contrary to God’s will and, even though the word “homosexual” is not mentioned in many translations, that doesn’t mean that the Bible does not speak about it. There are some versions that do mention the word “homosexual”, but those who want to accept, and even worse, live this horrid, disgusting lifestyle simply say it is a wrong translation. Even though the Bible rarely mentions the word “homosexuality”, it clearly describes it as a totally unacceptable lifestyle to God and to man. God is not some One Who wants to keep people from having fun and being happy; instead He is our heavenly Father Who wants only the best for His children and creation. He gives us the Holy Bible, His Holy Word, which tells us about those things we are to do and those we are not to do so no harm will come to us. God knows that the homosexual lifestyle can only lead to hurt and destruction. Even though He doesn’t say the word “homosexuality”, He declares in no uncertain terms “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. (Lev 18:22)” and “If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. (Lev 20:13)”. God calls homosexuality an “ABOMINATION” [which means a great hatred and disgust; something so disgusting that it would make one vomit] and a sin so disgusting that those doing so SHALL BE PUT TO DEATH. The Holy Bible also tells us “Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor HOMOSEXUAL OFFENDERS nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.” (I Cor 6:9). These verses make two points very clear: God does not want anyone living the homosexual lifestyle; and this puts to rest, and shows to be false, the thought that God made homosexuals that way. God is not capable of doing evil or creating anything that is not good! Why would God make someone “that way” and then condemn his or her lifestyle? People become homosexuals by CHOICE, not by birth; with God’s help, they can change and live normal, godly lives again if they will trust and listen to God. 2. Homosexuality is a horrid lifestyle because those who practice it bring great harm to their fellow man and themselves. Those who think that this is just another “life style” where two people of the same sex can share affections for each other are greatly mislead and mistaken. Homosexuals do NOT want to have sexual relations in the NORMAL, GOD-GIVEN way; males practice anal intercourse with other men to satisfy their LUST-DRIVEN desires. The rectum is not able take this kind of punishment, and as a result, the rectum is destroyed causing ruptures and bleeding. A doctor in an emergency ward who treats homosexuals says they “have rectums that look like raw hamburger meat”. Another doctor is quoted, “…much of gay sex is of the harmful, sadistic, masochistic variety. Gays hurt each other. They also hurt themselves.” HIV, AIDS, and other STD’s are easily passed on to the next person during homosexual sex encounters. No one who truly cares for another would destroy anyone this way. And look at the result. Studies show that the average age of death for homosexuals is about 40 years old. They forfeit half of their earthly life, and if they don’t repent, will spend eternity in the fiery pits of hell. If the above doesn’t turn your stomach, here are a few other things homosexuals do to each other: Fisting – insert the fist into the rectum as far as it can go; Rimming – licking in and around the partner’s anus; Gerbiling – remove the claws off a live gerbil and insert the bloody, moving animal into the partner’s rectum (this is supposed to give pleasure). Homosexuality is a HORRIBLE, DISGUSTING lifestyle and people need to know. In most cases this lifestyle brings sickness and death to those who practice it. Today there are 26 STD’s (Sexually Transmitted Diseases), which are reaching epidemic proportions. Studies show that 56 million Americans are infected with a sexually transmitted disease like herpes or hepatitis B which can be controlled but not cured. The most dreaded are HIV and AIDS which eventually brings about a horrible death. Homosexuals now want to be able to “get married” and adopt children. In many schools today, children are being taught from “school approved textbooks” such as “My Two Daddies” and “My two Mommies” that the homosexual lifestyle is OK. These sick and confused people are perverting these innocent children, and they will succeed if they are not stopped. If that’s not bad enough, what possible chance does a child that is adopted by a homosexual couple have to live normal godly life? And a reasonable conclusion would be that EVENTUALLY these children will be taught to PRACTICE this disgusting lifestyle. All parents should contact their children’s’ school and examine the curriculum to find out what they are teaching your children. 3. Homosexuality makes a mockery of marriage and a NORMAL BIOLOGICAL existence. Whether you are an atheist or a Christian (there are no other choices), the TRUTH and REALITY IS God instituted (started) marriage with Adam and Eve. And from that time on and forever more, God says, “… a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.” (Gen 2:24). Notice that God said a man (ONE MAN) will be married to his WIFE (ONE WOMAN, not another man or anything else) until death does part them. There is no such thing as a same sex or homosexual marriage and never will be. God is very clear that the only acceptable marriage to Him is one between ONE MAN and ONE WOMAN. Anything else is a sham and a lie! This is further verified since God said to that first married couple (and His words also are for all married couples until the end of time) “…Be fruitful, and multiply …” (Gen 1:28). Any reasonable person knows that “to multiply” you need a man and a woman. To God there is no such thing as a “homosexual marriage” and He will never accept it. Even though God abhors and forbids it, three countries (Netherlands, Belgium, and Canada) and even one of our states (Massachusetts) ruled that “same sex marriage” is legal. Dr. D. James Kennedy writes in his book “ What’s Wrong with Same Sex Marriage” the following: “Researchers found out that the average ‘marriage’ between two men lasts one and a half years. Furthermore, during that time, men have eight other partners per year … the idea of ‘til death do us part’ and monogamous is utterly abominable to them. So what do they want? … what they want is to destroy marriage altogether … What they want is to make us like them … They are seeking the LEGAL RECOGNITION and APPROVAL of their lifestyle … they don’t mean for us to leave them alone to do what they want to do, but for us – all of us – to EMBRACE IT.” In this same book he writes, “Signorile, a homosexual writer … added that same sex marriage could give them the legal tool by which they could force their agenda on society.” The real reason homosexuals want to be “married” is “to them – legal means moral”; they want us to say it’s OK and we accept it. Furthermore it will make it easier for them to legally adopt children and bring them up with their lifestyle with their way of thinking. 4. Consider the dangers that will be brought about by this bizarre endeavor. If the homosexual lifestyle is accepted as an alternate lifestyle and “same sex (homosexual) marriage becomes legalized, not only will all Americans including children be placed in harm’s way, but the moral structure of our country will be thrown into total chaos. The traditional, godly marriage consisting of one man and one woman which has been the norm for all the peoples on earth for the 5000 + years earth has been in existence will be destroyed and will be followed by even more legalized perversions such as polygamy (more than one wife), incest (sex with own children), bestiality (sex with animals). If we allow this disgusting, ungodly lifestyle, it’s only fair to let the others have their desires, isn’t it? Pastor John Hagee made the statement to his 17,000 member congregation in a Sunday sermon that a historical study showed that those societies throughout all history that abandoned the traditional, godly marriage went out of existence. Dr. Kennedy further writes in his book, “… There’s never been a society – ever in the history of the world – that has survived this kind of perversion … The approval of immorality is a major step for any declining society on its way from civilization to barbarianism.” Those who would want to stress the godly father – mother role could be accused of a “hate” crime and put in prison. Children would suffer the most: Godly children would be guilty of being hateful; All children would be thrown into grave confusion regarding right and wrong; Children of homosexual “couples” would have no chance to know or live a normal, godly life with boys being in danger of becoming sex toys. Furthermore since homosexuals are rarely monogamous and may have 300 partners or more, adopted children would be caught in a social roller coaster, not knowing whom they should follow. Public schools would push for total acceptance of the homosexual lifestyle. Since younger children are very susceptible to sexual identity teaching, great sexual confusion would be thrust upon them. Health care costs and premiums would skyrocket because of HIV and other STDs. Social security and welfare would be greatly stressed since “same sex partners” would be covered and they would qualify for tax supported benefits. Religious freedom would be in danger. Those churches and Christians speaking out against the sin of homosexuality would be guilty of hate crime and could be imprisoned. This is already happening in Canada. Finally America would become another Sodom and Gomorrah – an ungodly, immoral country that no longer wants to listen to God but only wants to please their lusts and desires. Read Genesis 13:12 and 18:16 to 19:25 and see what God did to these cities. C. What should we do about it? Read the Holy Bible and acknowledge homosexuality is a sin and unacceptable. Pray to God to give you strength to stand firm on His Word and do something about it. Inform others about this perversion and teach them why it is ungodly and wrong. Call your congressman and let him know you are against this lifestyle. Help those who are caught in this sin but do not accept or condone their lifestyle. Conservative factions of major religions still consider it a sin but with such reservation that homosexuality goes virtually unchecked. Liberal factions by misinterpretation of the Bible disregard tradition and see nothing wrong with it. Conservative Christians are really the only people making a stand against this horrid and sinful lifestyle. Any Christians that oppose the homosexuals are considered unloving and judgmental. Unfortunately, because of the constant exposure to pro-homosexual information by television, the public in general is becoming desensitized to this sin and is more acceptable of the homosexual lifestyle. The first signs of the movement, as we know it today, showed up just before World War II. By the late 1950s into mid-1960s, gays and lesbians began to show their homosexuality publicly, and by the late 1960s, began to rebel and started using phrases like "gay power", "gay pride”, and "coming out" (publicly declaring oneself a homosexual). In the 1970s the new activism reached into colleges; “gay” student groups were formed and the first gay and lesbian studies courses were offered. In the 1980s, visibility was the main strategy as entertainment and sports figures came out. After 1990 the movement focused on fighting the ban on homosexuals in the military, continued the struggle for equal legal treatment, and promoted the idea of gay people as an economic as well as political force.

By year 2000, a two-pronged effort 1] to force employers to offer domestic partner benefits and 2] to force governments to legalize same-sex marriage had achieved some concrete results. As of today, three American states have been FORCED to allow SSM or “civil unions”. Even though a majority of Americans did not want to allow it, the American state supreme courts of Massachusetts, New Jersey, & Vermont ruled that it is unconstitutional to ban SSM, and forced these states to either allow it or invoke “civil unions.” The activists of SSM are now bringing lawsuits against other states [California, Connecticut, & Maryland being the first targets] to force them to allow it, eventually bringing the matter to the United States Supreme Court. Their plan is to concentrate on getting more state courts and legislatures to permit same-sex marriage or civil unions while they wait for the public to shift in their favor. Americans are no longer deciding by democratic vote; the courts are thru judicial tyranny! It would seem that homosexuals are increasing in great numbers to accomplish such great results. However, from the latest studies, we find that less than 4% of Americans claim to be homosexuals; actually it is closer to 2% of the entire American population. 2% of America’s people are trying to change the country’s morality simply because they want to satisfy their UNGODLY, EVIL LUSTS! They know the majority of the people don’t want to accept this lifestyle so they are using the ACLU and the US courts to FORCE the public to accept it. They are using the media - television, newspapers, and other means - to get their propaganda to the public to change as many people minds as they can. And unfortunately, they are succeeding. Results of homosexuality today Look at the ungodly results that the homosexual lifestyle and activist movement is forcing on America and the world. There is worldwide spread of incurable diseases – HIV, AIDS, & other STD’s. Anyone today engaging in sexual activity, whether normal or homosexual, has a 50% chance of contracting a sexually transmitted disease. Normal godly people (called “straight” so they don’t have to call us “normal”) are accused of being “homophobic” and, in some countries, may be jailed of a “hate crime”. This may shortly be a reality in America. Today three American states were forced to allow “same sex marriage” or “civil unions”, and it appears that many other states will be FORCED by state supreme courts to do the same. The US Armed Forces have accepted a “Don’t ask - - don’t tell” policy, but the newly elected president in 2008 promised the homosexuals that he would do all he can to remove the policy so they can be open about their sexuality. Our American elementary schools are teaching “Two dads - - Two moms” to children so they will think the homosexual lifestyle is normal and OK. Most sit-coms aired on today’s television stations have at least one homosexual writer on the staff to make sure the sit-coms are “politically correct” and they don’t denigrate “gays”. Homosexuals on television are portrayed as loving and caring people who are not sinning but just living a different lifestyle. Normal godly people, for whatever reason whether fear or misunderstanding, do not speak out against this atrocity allowing the uninformed to believe this horrid lifestyle is acceptable. A word of caution is needed. All Christians need to point out manifest sins and try to help the erring person follow God’s ways, but no one has the right to inflict physical harm on someone caught in a manifest sin. Identifying the problem We see our beloved America and the world changing dramatically right before our eyes - pornography everywhere, horrid inhumane killing of unborn babies, recreational sex. And now homosexuals want the world to accept and participate in their unnatural, horrid lifestyle; they want to destroy marriage as God made it. Why is this happening? The “homosexual movement” and “thought crime” legislation plaguing us today can be stopped. But for this to happen, we are the ones who will have to do something. One NAMBLA publication, "The Survival Manual: The Man's Guide to Staying Alive in Man-Boy Sexual Relationships," aids and abets felonious conduct, telling its members “where to go to have sex with children…when to leave America [if one gets caught] and how to rip off credit card companies to get cash to finance your flight.” The Journal of Homosexuality published a special issue entitled, "Male Intergenerational Intimacy," containing many articles showing sex between men and minor boys. One article said parents should look upon the pedophile who loves their son, "not as a rival or competitor … but as a partner in the boy's upbringing, someone to be welcomed into their home." In 1995 the homosexual magazine "Guide" printed, "We can be proud that the gay movement has been home to the few voices who have had the courage to say out loud that children are naturally sexual" and "deserve the right to sexual expression with whoever they choose. …" The article went on to say: "Instead of fearing being labeled pedophiles, we must proudly proclaim that sex is good, including children's sexuality … we must do it for the children's sake." Many are mislead and think that the movement is intended to finally allow homosexuals who “truly love each other” to spend the rest of their lives together as “loving spouses.” But that’s not the real reason they want SSM. Dr. D.J. Kennedy in his book “What’s Wrong with Same-sex Marriage” writes:
Legislative attempts to stop “same-sex marriage” Several attempts have been made by different grass-roots groups and some Congressmen to stop the homosexual movement, which is trying to legalize SSM and change marriage forever. If the homosexual movement is successful, the damage and confusion that will result may never be corrected. The only piece of legislation that was voted a law, but is being vehemently contested by homosexuals, is the Defense of Marriage Act, or DOMA, which defines the term marriage within Federal law as "only a legal union between one man and one woman as husband and wife." The bill was passed by Congress by a vote of 85-14 in the Senate and a vote of 342-67 in the House of Representatives, and was signed by President Bill Clinton in 1996. As can been seen by the voting totals, an overwhelming majority of congress was in favor of the law. In March 1996 at the time the law was enacted, the Gallup Organization found that 68% of American adults opposed gay marriages; 27% were in favor. The latest poll by Gallup found that 55 percent thought homosexual "marriages" should not be valid, while 42 percent said they should be recognized. We can see by the polls that more and more people (whether confused, uniformed, or desensitized - just plain getting used to it) are in favor of meeting the homosexuals’ demands. If the trend continues the way it is, it won’t be long before the homosexuals will have the majority on their side and then there will be no stopping them. Regarding current legislation, a newly proposed resolution must be stopped!! United States Representative John Conyers introduced resolution HR 1592 on March 20 of 2008, which would expand the definition of “hate-crimes”. Traditional Values Coalition Executive Director Andrea Lafferty issued the following statement:

Those who want to live this lifestyle or accept it as “just another way of life” have been and continue to be deluded and led by the devil. Christians led by God the Holy Spirit and His Holy Word are the only ones who know the truth and can help these people. But we have to know what to say and be WILLING TO SAY IT. In the following paragraphs we will discuss some main excuses that homosexuals use to try to convince the public that there is nothing wrong with their lifestyle. At the end of each excuse will be a response that will expose their error and allow us to give a godly and intelligent reply to their excuse. We use the term “excuse” because they have no valid justification for their lifestyle. "Judge not, that you be not judged.” (Matthew 7:1) is one of the excuses homosexuals use to silence the public. Since all people are sinners, and many people have committed or are committing a sin of which they are ashamed and don’t want to be made public, homosexuals warn “Judge not …” and “… He that is without sin … let him first cast a stone…” (John 8:7). Many Christians are confused and cautious regarding these verses because they don’t want to disobey God’s commands, or be unloving, so they remain silent.
When God says “Judge not …” He tells us, when “deciding” the morality of a brother, that we are not to use our OWN worldly set of values to “judge” another since our values are more than likely flawed or prejudiced in some way. However, when you use God’s Holy Word to “condemn” an action or show someone his obvious sin, you are not “judging” the person but showing him his sin and doing God’s will. God says in Isaiah 58:1 “Cry aloud, spare not, lift up your voice like a trumpet, and show My people their transgression ...” and in Ezekiel 33:8 “When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, you shall surely die; if you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at your hand.” Some people may think that, since homosexuality doesn’t appear to affect them, the best solution would be to keep silent and leave the matter to others. But we learn from the Bible that Christians have no choice; either they speak out or they are disobeying God. In John 8, let him that is without sin “… cast the first stone…”, the Pharisees caught a woman in the sin of adultery, which by the Law of Moses, was punishable by death; by this incident they exposed her sin, but they also tried to use this incident to trap Jesus. This account does not mean that, since all are sinners, we should keep quiet about the sins of others. Jesus did not shield or excuse the sinner; she was guilty. This account teaches that we are to show mercy toward the fallen sinner and to win him back, if possible, into the way of righteousness. In the situation of the homosexual, we need to bring to his attention that he or she is caught in a most heinous sin, making sure we do not condone or accept his lifestyle. If the homosexual confesses that he is sinning against God and puts his trust in Jesus, he has forgiveness as a repentant sinner. Our hope is that, with God’s help, the homosexual will quit his horrid lifestyle and live a normal godly life. Another excuse is that the homosexual was “born” (or made) “that way” so he can’t help being the way he is or living the life he is destined to live. Whether people believe it or not, the earth and universe AND MAN was created by God, not by chance of evolution:
We can see from the Bible that homosexuals are not born that way. But what do the medical and psychological societies say about this? Family Research Council associates Peter Sprigg and Timothy Dailey, authors of “Getting It Straight: What the Research Shows about Homosexuality,” write: “The research shows no convincing evidence that anyone is ‘born gay’ … To date, all theories regarding the existence of a ‘gay gene’ remain unsubstantiated …” One psychiatrist, Dr. Richard Fitzgibbons, who actually works with homosexuals helping them out of the lifestyle and is the director of a counseling service in the Philadelphia area notes this, “We can conclude that there is no evidence that homosexuals are ‘born gay.’” People become homosexuals by CHOICE, not by birth. A feeble excuse is that it is a natural part of life since animals do it. Speaking of homosexuality among animals, Dr Linda Wolfe, Chair of the Department of Anthropology at East Carolina University, writes: “Homosexual behavior is not against nature, it is part of the repertoire of what animals do.” First of all, man is a special creation of God separate from animals; God created the animals and then He created man. Certainly the evolutionist considers man as the most advanced form of monkey, but Christians know that God created man for God’s purpose. Just because some animals practice homosexuality is no excuse for man to do so. Then there is the excuse “If it feels right to those involved, it is nobody else's business.” All actions and deeds are the business of the most important Person of all - God Almighty who created all. Furthermore everybody has relatives, at least a father and mother. They may not be physically involved but godly parents and siblings as well as others who do not agree with the homosexual lifestyle may be put through much ridicule and mental anguish. Then there is the so-called “bisexual” who has sexual relations with both men and women. He can contract a disease from a homosexual and then pass it on to an unsuspecting female, possibly imposing on her a death warrant. Everything we do in life affects in some way a multitude of people in very different ways, and that certainly makes it “their business.” One excuse is just a plain lie, “Homosexuality is of no harm to the participants or to anyone else.” Homosexuals destroy each other’s bodies. They pass on to each other and to many trusting and unsuspecting partners horrid diseases including AIDS. The average of homosexuals at death is around 40; they give up approximately half of their life. Many are addicted to drugs and commit suicide. And they want others to believe their not hurting anyone. The homosexual lifestyle is harmful and destructive to anyone who comes in contact with it. God says “it is abomination” and for good reason. The homosexuals can give any excuse they want to justify their lifestyle, but the simple truth is that it’s a horrid and unacceptable lifestyle, and no good will come from it. What can we do? Read the Bible and admit that homosexuality is a sin and unacceptable. Pray to God to give you strength to stand firm on His Word and do something. Inform others that the homosexual lifestyle is perversion, and teach them why it is ungodly and wrong. Call, write, or email your congressmen and let them know you are against this lifestyle and any law that gives them special protections. Help the homosexual but do not accept or condone their lifestyle. Share God’s Word with those caught in this sin; tell them about God’s love and forgiveness through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior so they may repent and, with God’s help, quit this horrid lifestyle and live a godly decent life.
